You’re one of eight people on Richmond Mill Lake –125 acres dammed in 1835 – pulling in trophy-size bass and blue gills. Everything you need for a bucket-list day is provided: boats, tackle, guides and a pristine setting.
Blast
Nestled on a 2,000 acre nature preserve, the five-stand is like no other. Standing in the gate with your gun poised, the targets fly like birds. Expert or novice, all shooters are welcome. We provide guns, ammo, clay and instruction.

The ancient art of falconry comes to life right before your eyes as you watch the Peregrine falcon soar above the trees. With sudden speed and precision, the bird retreats to the falconer’s outstretched arm and lightly touches down.

This year marks the 150th Anniversary of the end of the Civil War. Hear the stories of the land and water. The lake holds war treasure, the woods hidden cabins. The story will come to life, just as if you were there in the moment.

White table cloths and crystal glasses hint that this is more than lunch in the woods. Take a deep breath. The fresh scent of the outdoors mingles with sizzling aromas coming from the grill. Have a bite, raise a glass and toast the the day!

The view of the lake is spectacular – 200-year-old pygmy cypress dot the still water. A jazz ensemble plays a riff that mimics the sun dancing as the water laps the shore. It’s a setting so private, so peaceful, that it is a privilege to be here.
